I have read the story of Yusuf AS but when I was reading it from this book it was like I have never read or heard about the story before. The shaykh has really explained it in a way that we can visualise and apply lessons in our own lives. Jazakumullahu Khairan shaykh Sajid Umar and my dear friend and sister that gave me the book as a gift.

Excellent book

I initially came across this book when it was in its development phase in Ramadan 2023. I was intrigued by the vision of Shaykh Sajid and I happily supported its development on Launchgood. Then, as you do, I forgot about it.

When it was released, I had intended to order some copies. I was about to order some copies and then I received 5 copies in the post. Let's just say it was a pleasant surprise.

I was taken aback by the professionalism and thought that had obviously gone into it. It contained diagrams, posed questions and was more than a linear timeline of the great story of Yusuf.

In Ramadan 2024, I was asked to deliver a talk on the lessons from the life of Yusuf. I used this book in my preparation and the feedback was positive.

I even gave two copies as prizes to 2 young Muslims who had participated in the interactive session.

This is a fantastic resource that can be used by teachers to engage young and old in the timeless lessons and reflect on the book of Allah.

I have no hesitation in recommending this book as a must resource for every bookshelf.

I have just started reading this book by our beloved Sheikh Dr Sajid Umar. When I heard this book was being written I pre-ordered and waited in anticipation for it's publication, I was looking forward to learn the many lessons from the life of Yusuf AS.

I have to mention the book is printed on really good quality paper which makes the feel and reading of the book a lovely experience.

Sheikh Sajid writes in language that is easy to understand. I would say the book is suitable for any ability reader, suitable for teens and adults. Each chapter starts with an aphorism which makes it easy to follow and explore the messages being written about.

I really like how interactive the book is and how it makes the reader engage with the knowledge through the use of boxes titled "did you know," "reflect" and "transformative wisdom."

Would recommend this book to everyone.
