Yusuf Simpson

Yusuf Simpson received his B.A. from Skidmore College and a Juris Doctor from The University of Michigan Law School. Drawing from his native Texan roots, Yusuf uses his unique voice to explore themes like the meaning of home and the ability of characters to be both decent and compelling at the same time. He says beauty and manners are boring only if the story isn’t told well enough. Yusuf became Muslim in 2016 and went on the Hajj pilgrimage in 2024. He plans to launch Carpet Cowboy Productions in 2026 to serve as a new voice in the world of Muslim arts and culture.
